|STEPS TO CERTIFICATION|
Step 1: CCDE Written Exam
You must pass the two-hour, written qualification exam, which covers networking concepts and some equipment commands before you are eligible to schedule the lab exam.

Step 2: CCDE Practical Exam
The exam is only offered at select professional testing centers. The CCDE Practical Exam is an 8-hour exam that includes a mandatory lunch break. The exam consists of 4 sections, with each focusing on a different scenario. Schedule a lab or practice exam online (requires a Cisco login).
