AATPI Course Description

AATPI is a follow-on course to the Cisco Call Manager MCS Bootcamp (CCM) intended for engineers who must troubleshoot an IP Telephony network. In the course, students will integrate the major network components such as routers and switches with an IP Telephony solution. They will also integrate the call processing and client components such as the CallManager and IP phones. Students will then troubleshoot the environment based on some of the most prolific calls that have come into the Cisco TAC on IP Telephony.

Course Description
 
Troubleshoot problems with servers running CallManager
Integrate and configure all the components that make up an AVVID solution including the infrastructure, call processing systems, and the client interface components
Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair trouble tickets on the network
Integrate and Troubleshoot CallManager with a legacy PBX
Develop the skills needed to solve and repair the most complex problems with AVVID solutions  
 
Intended Audience
 
This course is intended for engineers, consultants, and services personnel who are deploying and troubleshooting a Cisco IP Telephony networking in either an Enterprise or Service Provider Environment.
 
Prerequisites
 
Student prerequisites are as follows:
 
 Taken either the CIPT or CallManager Bootcamp course
 Have installed and Configured CallManager in two-unit cluster
 Installed IP phones, set up server for auto-register, and configured phones for  supplementary services
 Integrated sites in centralized and distributed modes
 Used available troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve problems
 Connted IP voice network to PSTN and analog phones via gateways
 Configured a gatekeeper
